I guess this is where I say “welcome to my new blog” and introduce it.

A while back I began to toy with the idea of starting a new blog. My main motivation is that I am very active with my activism on Facebook, and find it a great venue for sharing views and information, but I realized there is no good way on FB to “collect” my favorite posts, links, pictures, comments… Hence this blog. I don’t know what it’s voice will be yet, but right now it’s the extension of what I’m already doing online (you can read the About section if you really want to).

Anyway. While considering what my theme/voice/subject was, I became slightly obsessed with the feminist artist Barbara Kruger (hence the banner above). So this first post is dedicated to her, her artwork, and her messages, which happen to resonate with many things I post about.
